We're on our way to the cross with Jesus. Last week we talked about how God celebrates and how we should celebrate when someone we've been missing comes back. This week, our Bible story focuses on compassion, listening to God, and acting in kindness to everyone because God loves everyone. The children used Lego blocks to retell the story of the rich man and Lazarus (there will be a video posted later this week when it's finished). They acted out the story. They tried to jump an impossible gap (although, honestly, one of the kids actually made it!). We sang our song for Easter, "Lord, I Lift Your Name on High." I'm including a video for children to practice at home. We'll be sharing it Easter Sunday during service. This is different than what the kids learned at camp, but we'll practice every Sunday from now until Easter. Can't wait to see everyone next week and be on the lookout for our awesome video! |
